Omoyeni Clement

Dr. Omoyeni Clement serves as the Chief Medical Officer of HopeScan Initiative, bringing exceptional clinical expertise, global health experience, and a deep commitment to human-centered care. She is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who trained at Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center in Houston, the busiest Level I trauma center in the United States.

Dr. Clement earned her undergraduate degree (BA) in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University, New York, graduating as a Senior Marshall Awardee. She went on to receive her medical degree (MD) from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University in New York, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassion and excellence in patient care.

At her medical school graduation, she received both the Branson S. Sparks Humanism Award and the Emergency Medicine Award, presented by the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she distinguished herself as Vice Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine (2022–2023) and Vice Chief of Critical Care Emergency Medicine (2023–2024). At her medical residency graduation, she was honored with the Departmental Award in Humanism in Medicine and the award for Best Senior Grand Rounds for her presentation titled, “Treatment of Acute Pain for Black Patients in the Emergency Department: Historical Mistrust and Strategies for Harm Reduction.”

Dr. Clement’s global health experience spans multiple continents, including clinical collaborations with physicians in Africa (Accra, Ghana) and SE Asia (Hanoi, Vietnam). She is the founder of TrueHeart Emergency Medical Services, LLC, which is dedicated to preserving humanity and dignity in emergency care.
