Professor Ajenifuja is a globally recognized authority on cervical cancer prevention. His research focuses on “Screen-and-Treat” models and the implementation of high-risk HPV DNA genotyping in low-resource settings. He provides the critical clinical link, ensuring all HopeScan participants have immediate access to specialized surgical and oncological care at OAUTH.
Dr. Clement Akinfolarin Adepiti

Dr Adepiti is an Associate Professor and Consultant Gyneoncologist at OAUTHC with over 25 years of experience. He holds a Diploma in Cancer Prevention from the NIH (USA) and completed a Gynaecological Oncology Fellowship at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Buffalo, NY). He specializes in optimizing diagnostic techniques for pre-cancerous lesions and leads community-engaged screening programs that bridge the gap between rural outreach and hospital-based intervention.

Professor Olalekan Olasehinde is a distinguished Professor of Surgery and Consultant Surgical Oncologist at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH).
He specializes in optimization strategies for oncological resections, such as improving guidelines for axillary lymph node dissections and evaluating patient barriers to mastectomies, to directly bridge the gap between community-based screening and effective, curative interventions.
